**Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre** is a licensed, non-profit child care centre with 3 locations in Arnprior and Renfrew. The Arnprior AJ location is based out of AJ Charbonneau Public School on Baskin Drive. We offer Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School Aged Programs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging 12 month _contract _**Teacher Assistant or RECE** for our **School Age Program **this October. The rate of pay ranges from $21.34/hour up to $26.00/hour depending on qualifications (pay indicated inclusive of wage enhancement grants for qualifying hours).

**Hours of Work would be **_daily_**_ _**_before & after school_**_ _from 6:45-9:30 & 3:30-5:15 and 7.5 hours on non-school days (pdays, march break etc).

This posting is for an already existing position that has opened up with the following requirements:
**Requirements**:

- Experience with school age children in a licensed child care setting
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR C
- Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector
- Proof of up-to-date immunizations and ability to get note from a medical practitioner indicating good health

Recommended:

- Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH

Considered an Asset:

- Registered Early Childhood Educator
- Experience with children with special needs
