Toddler Support

Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit child care centre with 3 locations in Arnprior and Renfrew. The **Arnprior location is based out of AJ Charbonneau Public School** on Baskin Drive. We offer Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School Aged Programs.

We require a loving and engaging individual to join the current team as **a** **Contract Support Staff for the Toddler Program **beginning January 2025. The tentative schedule for this role is 7 to 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday,_ _7:15am-4:15pm.

The rate of pay is $23.19 per hour plus 4% vacation pay (includes $2.19/hour pay equity).

This position does require a lot of lifting, bending, carrying, and the ability to be flexible in movement from floor to sitting to standing throughout the day.

This posting is for a new position. The following are the requirements:

- Experience with young children with extra needs
- Experience with medical equipment, or comfort learning to use medical equipment
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR C
- Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector
- Proof of up-to-date immunizations and ability to get note from a medical practitioner indicating good health

Recommended:

- Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH

Considered an Asset:

- Experience with children in a licensed childcare centre
- Child centered educational background (RECE, DSW, etc)
