**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create detailed estimates.
- Collaborate with project management teams to assess project requirements and timelines.
- Conduct site visits to gather relevant information for accurate estimating.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals to clients, highlighting key project components.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and clients.
- Excellent project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy in pricing and cost estimation.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration with team members and clients.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required.

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- construction estimating: 3 years (preferred)
