Construction Cost Estimator

Responsibilities:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to review project requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Research and gather data on material costs, labor rates, and equipment rental fees
- Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys from construction drawings
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing
- Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms
- Monitor project budgets and provide cost analysis reports to management
- Participate in project meetings to provide cost-related updates and recommendations

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques particularly relating to high-rise tower construction
- Excellent mathematical skills with attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

**Salary**: From $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
