We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure competitive pricing and successful project execution. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing advanced estimating tools and techniques to support our company's growth and reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed construction estimates and take off.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine scope of work and required resources.
- Develop accurate pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to negotiate terms and finalize project costs.
- Review and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes or unforeseen conditions.
- Maintain current knowledge of construction industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new estimating technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all estimates.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards, building codes, and industry best practices is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is desirable but not mandatory. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your expertise will directly impact the success of our projects and company growth. Pay: From $1,750.00 per month
