**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans and specifications.
- Utilize estimating software with excell spread sheets.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and scope.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather necessary data for estimates.
- Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best rates for materials and services.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, bids, and related documentation for future reference.
- Monitor project budgets throughout the construction process to ensure compliance with estimated costs.
- Provide support during the bidding process by answering questions from project managers and designers regarding project specifications.

**Skills**
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software, particularly Plan Swift and Builder Trend
- Highly skilled in complex excell worksheets.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate with subcontractors and suppliers regarding pricing.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost estimation.
- Ability to build relationships with clients, contractors, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting and collaboration within teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
