Role Description

As an Internationalization (i18n) Program Manager on the International Expansion team, you’ll drive and own the building and maintenance of a centralized i18n program working closely with engineering to ensure i18n is well incorporated into the software development lifecycle. You’ll also champion i18n at Dropbox by providing expert support to internal stakeholders on i18n best practices and processes via ongoing education initiatives and as an ad-hoc consultant. You’ll play an integral role in Dropbox’s international business by scaling the technical effort involved in bringing Dropbox to our users in 21 languages across hundreds of countries and territories.

**Responsibilities**:
Partner with Product, Engineering, QA, and Design to establish i18n standards
Ensure teams that are new to i18n and l10n are set up for success
Provide expert support to internal stakeholders on i18n best practices and processes via ongoing education initiatives and as an ad-hoc consultant
Evaluate current i18n tools and processes and make suggestions for improvements
**Requirements**:
4+ years Program / Project Management
2+ years in Internationalization / Localization
Ability to balance independent tasks / goals while contributing to team goals and collaborating with other team members
Ability to balance multiple cross-functional stakeholders with varying needs of complexity
Expertise with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) and Translation Management tools
Expertise in industry standard i18n principles and best practices
Proven ability to work effectively with Engineering, Product Management, QA and Design
Detail-oriented and organized self-starter with a track record of juggling and prioritizing multiple projects with mínimal guidance
BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Linguistics, or other related field
