We are currently recruiting a **Warehouse Administrator** to join our team. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining open communication with warehouse staff, carriers, vendors, and customers regarding inbound and outbound shipments, tracking metric volumes within the warehouse, balancing inventory levels, and more.
**Job Duties**:
- Maintain open communication with warehouse staff, carriers, vendors, and customers regarding inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintain the delivery appointment schedule for inbound shipments.
- Follow up shipments to ensure timeliness and assist with arranging alternate carriers if needed.
- Interact with inbound/outbound carriers and provide them with the appropriate documentation.
- Track metric volumes and efficiencies within the warehouse.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through regularly scheduled cycle counts and facility-specific warehouse reports.
- Assist with processing packages for shipment via courier when needed.
- Balance inventory levels.
- Manage orders based on production capacities.
- Provide administrative assistance to the operations management team.
- Resolve issues or discrepancies in customer shipments/deliveries as identified by Customer Service.
- Prepare shipping documents and workload for floor associates.
- Update material and customer information.
- Generate activity and utilization reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Ensure drivers depart with the appropriate paperwork.
- Gather, enter data into the warehouse management system, and maintain all data and records related to shipping activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Job Requirements**:
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent.
- 3+ years of administrative experience in a warehouse/distribution environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities to meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
