Scope of the position: The Warehouse Admin is responsible for admin support, data entry and follow-up of the shipping/receiving department. They are also responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned to them by the Manager. Major Responsibilities: To execute all shipping and receiving administrative processes and procedure Develop and maintain an efficient filing system for all relevant paperwork (Purchase Orders (PO's), courier forms, transfer documents, etc). Schedule delivery appointments with carriers on a daily basis via email and /or phone Create system generated packing slips (from Eclipse) for receivers in the absence of vendor's packing slip. Ensure proper documentation of all incoming product according to company standards. Responsible for printing relevant receiving reports to ensure that all are received or sent with no outstanding PO's or transfers. Ensure effective communication via email and/or phone with internal departments and external vendors. Monitor and Investigate variances related to receiving documents including purchase Orders (PO) and transfers. Assist Warehouse Manager with any special requests Assist with any special inquiries from other departments (e.g. Inventory) Accountable for the input and integrity of appropriate back-end paperwork. Maintain a safe working environment and follow all company protocols for safety and is required to report any unsafe working conditions to a manager. Identifies and communicates suggestions for improvements in all areas of business. Requirements Completion of high-school or equivalent Previous Work experience in a warehouse/distribution environment Excellent communication, both written and verbal Ability to plan, organize and prioritize effectively with a sense of urgency. Can engage appropriately and work as part of a team Capacity to work independently and seek out assistance as required. Strong work ethic and positive team attitude The successful candidate will be required to complete a satisfactory security background check Strong command of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.) Strong computer skills to adapt to our ERP software (Epicor's Eclipse product) Benefits & Perks We offer a competitive salary, plus a full set of benefits, including: Flexible benefits program allowing you to choose from options that best fit you and your dependents’ needs.
