**Social Media Coordinator**

We are the largest company in Atlantic Canada dedicated exclusively to material handling equipment; we have been providing our customers with high quality equipment, rentals, parts, and service since 1993. With branches located in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, we are looking for a Social Media Intern to join our growing team in Nova Scotia.

**Reporting to the Senior Parts Service & Sales Representative the Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for**:

- Manages the company’s website, social media accounts and posts content.
- Develops social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity
- Monitors various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social platforms
- Creates consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
- Understands the over all concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals and all other aspects of service.
- Provides suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes.
- Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
- Prepare monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
- Stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media
- Perform other duties when needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or diploma program in journalism, communications, marketing, social media, or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must understand social media management and strategy.
- Knowledge of various analytics software.
- Events Planning experience would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of WordPress and Wix.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to collaborate and work closely with teams and departments. A high motivation to learn and excellent attention to detail.
