**HOURS OF WORK**:

- **Must be available to work days, evenings and night shifts.**:

- **Must be available Saturdays and Sundays and pick up shifts if needed throughout the week.**:

- DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)**:

- Damp dusting all horizontal surfaces, including beds, furniture, baseboards, and interior and exterior of room doors.
- Cleaning sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, splash areas, mirrors, hand bars, soap dishes and shelves in washrooms.
- Emptying, cleaning and re-lining waste baskets
- Checking and re-stocking washroom supplies including soap dispensers, paper towel and toilet paper dispensers
- Washing and polishing handrails, doorknobs, push plates etc.
- Cleaning ceiling vents and lights
- Keeping housekeeping equipment clean and reporting equipment in need of repair to the Supervisor of Environmental Services
- Disinfecting beds
- Removal and re-hanging of drapes and bedside curtains.
- Washes windows, walls, ceilings, stairwells and radiators according to procedure.
- Cleaning of cupboards, lockers, supply carts, etc., and other areas as assigned
- Cleaning of water fountains
- High Dusting
- Cleaning up spills, leaks, puddles, etc., as required
- Ensuring floors are kept free of debris, paper, etc.
- Spray buffing
- Cleans and polishes elevators, including floors, walls, ceilings and doors.
- Perform isolation cleaning duties when required.
- May be required to clean and disinfect bedside hygiene equipment, IV poles, medication carts, scales, bed pans, urinals, blood pressure stands, chair scales, exteriors of nutrition fridges, medication fridges.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

**QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)**:

- **Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.**:

- Must possess sufficient practical experience to satisfactorily perform the responsibilities of the Position.
- Have the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 Lbs.
- Physically fit to perform all aspects of the job.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work as a team member.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $26.44 per hour
