Soccer Referee Supervisor

Footy Sevens is recruiting a Referee Supervisor for 7v7 recreational soccer games in Ottawa. The successful individual will be responsible for allocating referees and field coordinators for over 200 recreational soccer games each week as well as coordinating and refereeing games.

**Duties**:

- Assigning referees and supervisors for multiple soccer games across the city each week
- Recruiting, training and assessing soccer referees.
- Supervising officials, players and facilities during evening and weekend games.
- Refereeing soccer games
- Inputting payroll information and hours worked into payroll system.
- Other administrative duties as required.
- A minimum of 25 hours per week will be spent at the field, the other time will be spent working from home on administrative duties.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 2 years of soccer refereeing experience.
- A passion for soccer and and a strong background in and knowledge of the game.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service and conflict resolution skills for interacting with adult soccer players, referees and staff in person and on the phone.
- Ability to work independently without supervision as part of a team working remotely.
- Availability to work 4 or 5 evening and weekend shifts each week.
- Car or other transport to travel to fields in different parts of Ottawa.

Games are evenings and weekends with kick-offs ranging from 6pm to 11pm on weekdays and noon to 11pm at weekends.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
