**Summary**

We are seeking a passionate Baker to join our team at Heart of Food. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing and baking our signature baked goods, ensuring that every product meets our high standards of quality and taste. **We are located in East York, Toronto - please ensure you can reliably commute to this area for work.**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and bake a variety of food products according to established recipes.
- Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including mixing dough and preparing toppings.
- Package finished products for display and sale, maintaining presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

**Requirements**:

- **Previous experience in baking or food preparation is required.**:

- Strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
