- Overview:
As the Sales and Operations Planning Manager, you will spearhead the development, execution, and enhancement of our Sales and Operations Planning process. Your role will be instrumental in fostering collaboration, optimizing capacities, and aligning departments to drive unified strategies, ensuring operational efficiency across our network. You will be doing so while leading and guiding the Network planning team and the S&OP team to new heights.
**Responsibilities**:
- S&OP Process Management: Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of mid
- and long-term S&OP processes by ensuring the alignment of our sales team insight, forecasted volume and delivery capacity at the station level which will then drive our expansion process.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster collaboration among departments to ensure a unified approach to S&OP, emphasizing communication and coordination.
- Capacity Management Oversight: Support capacity analysts in managing capacity processes, ensuring accurate representation of stations' ability to process and deliver packages daily while also addressing fluctuations and seeking opportunities for growth.
- Network Planning: Manage and elevate the network planning team which will be overseeing the continuity of all the different variable of the network, starting from internal logistics all the way to the delivery process at the end of our value chain.
- Station Opening Process: Oversee the network planning team's involvement in station opening processes, ensuring comprehensive consideration of all relevant variables, and identifying the optimal solution of expansion.
- Process Implementation: Implement rigorous processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to network planning and capacity management.
- Initiative Leadership: Lead initiatives with teams to reduce costs and increase operational speed and throughput across the network.
- KPI Development: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of S&OP.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze S&OP performance data, generate reports, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 Years experience in management.
- 3-5 Years experience as a operation planning or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Needs to be adaptable and a change catalyst.
- Need t-o be available for short-distance travel. (QC-ON region)
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
