**Location: Claresholm**

The Precast Installation Labourer works with a team to perform tasks involved in the installation of precast concrete. This includes hollow core panels, wall panels, beams, columns, bleachers and balconies. Position requires travel to and from job sites where long hours are involved
- Assist in the installation of precast concrete components during the erection of commercial, industrial, multi-story, and agricultural buildings
- Complete site prep work prior to the installation of precast concrete wall panels
- Help with the rigging and signaling of cranes
- Accomplish a variety of tasks that help the progress of the build
- Work effectively within a crew of 3-5 team members on the construction site
- Take direction and collaborate with your foreman or supervisor
- Follow company safety policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Valid Standard First Aid, Aerial Work Platform and Fall Protection certification
- Minimum 44-50 hours per week
- Available to work Monday-Friday, occasional Saturday
- Physically fit and able to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Able to work at heights with proper safety restraints
- Good communication skills to receive and relay information to and from crew members, foremen and supervisors
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Assets
- Previous experience installing precast structures and components
- Experience using small equipment |Ex: skid steer, zoom boom and aerial work platforms
- Apprentice or Journeyman Ironworker certificate
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints

**Salary**: From $24.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
