**The Opportunity**

We’re looking for an experienced **BIM Specialist** with strong skills in **precast concrete systems, Tekla Structures, and structural detailing**.

You'll play a hands-on role in delivering fabrication-ready models and coordinating data across disciplines and stakeholders. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to **advanced tools and workflows**, **API integrations**, and visualization work in **Unreal Engine** for **rendering, AR/VR, and presentation materials**.

This is a role for someone who understands how buildings go together — and enjoys making that process smoother, smarter, and more visual.

**What You’ll Do**
- Implement and support BIM standards, best practices, and quality checks
- Create Tekla-based BIM models for various types of structures including institutional buildings, stadiums, buildings, and parking garages
- Create **fabrication-level drawings**, including General Arrangement, rebar, embeds, and connection drawings
- Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and fabricators to ensure clarity and constructability
- Contribute to **automation and customization** of Tekla workflows using scripts or API integrations (optional but encouraged)
- Assist in visualization and presentation workflows using **Unreal Engine** (optional but encouraged)

**What You'll Bring**
- Diploma or Degree in construction technology or Civil Engineering
- **2+ years** experience in BIM, structural detailing, or technical project roles (P**recast concrete, steel, or fabrication preferred**)
- **2+ Years**in **Structural** modelling and drafting
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and construction coordination
- Understanding of **concrete structures, rebar detailing, and shop drawing development**:

- Experience communicating with engineers, drafters, and fabricators to resolve technical issues
- Proficiency with **Tekla Structures** is considered an asset
- Experience with **C#, Python, or Tekla API is considered an asset**:

- Experience with **Unreal Engine**, 3D rendering and visualization, or VR/AR tools is considered and asset
- Ability to work in office in **Calgary**

**Perks & Details**

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $50,000 - $80,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
**Additional Pay**: Overtime eligible
