**Hours**:Full-time, permanent, 40+ hours/week, various shift times, frequent overtime

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities will vary with each department but can include:

- Operate overhead cranewith loads from 5-30 tonnes.
- Operate heavy motorized machinery such as shuttle lift and various sizes of forklifts, up to 33,000 lbs.
- Operate various power tools and construction tools (table saw, drills, grinders).
- Using hand tools to grind product and shape to finish.
- Responsible for quality of product and efficiency of production.
- Maintain cleanliness and regular upkeep of work area and other equipment.
- Participate in training and ongoing learning opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

**Required**:

- Reliability, flexible availability for differing work schedules, and strong work ethic are absolutely key.
- Must be punctual with a good attendance record.
- Positive, proactive attitude and approach to issues.
- Safety-oriented; we have a very strong safety culture.
- Strong communication skills, approachable, open-minded.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Valid **Overhead** **Crane Certificate **and/or experience an asset
- Valid **Forklift Certificate **and/or experience an asset
- Experience using front-end loader as asset
- Experience using heavy machinery and/or heavy motorized equipment.
- Experience in manufacturing, production or construction environment.

**Work Context**:

- Working various shift start times.
- Majority of work is performed standing.
- Regularly required to operate self-powered equipment.
- Working in hazardous manufacturing/production environment requiring personal protective equipment.
- Concrete plant conditions of noise, dust, etc.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Working in varying temperatures; indoors in environmentally controlled conditions and outdoors in all weather and temperatures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
