The **Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Suites** **London**, with 180 modern guestrooms and suites, 15,000+ square feet of versatile meeting space, onsite Starbucks® Coffee and Bentley’s Lounge, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and guidance to the management team and employee group
- Assist in recruitment and on boarding process
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records
- Administration of the company benefit program
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all hotel employees
- Maintain detailed job descriptions and create new job descriptions when needed
- Understand and update policies and procedures as needed based on company changes or legislative changes
- Respond to manager and employee queries regarding policies and procedures
- Perform the orientation/on boarding of new hires
- Conduct exit process for departing employee
- Other duties and projects as required

**Other Responsibilities**:

- Health & Safety Hotel Representative
- Coordinate Staff Social events
- Daily Cash Balancing
- Coding invoices

**Skills & Qualifications Required**
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Human Resources Coordinator is considered an asset
- Good working knowledge and understanding of employment and labour laws, HR procedures and practices, legislative provisions regarding recruitment, employment equity, compensation, and health and safety required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, self-manage projects, prioritize workload, and maintain concentration and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
- Ability to coach employees at all levels through difficult situations, ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve issues using judgement consistent with the hotels preferences and priorities
- Computer skills in the area of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
