We are growing and hiring a **Bilingual** **Group Service Representative **(English & French) in our Toronto office (located minutes away from Toronto Pearson International Airport).

**Role Responsibilities**:
Benefit Plan Amendments:
- Process amendments through carrier - confirm all carrier(s) involved, track and follow-up and liaise with TPA if applicable
- Update the Plan Overview and provide to TPA if applicable
- Upon receipt of direction from the consulting team, liaise with client to receive letter of direction on change or copy of union settlement
- With direction from consulting team, compile required pricing of plan changes in excel format
- Follow-up with carrier on documents and booklets (review drafts for accuracy; send back to carrier if changes required; send final draft to client, where applicable; order supply of documents and booklets)
- Liaise with insurance carriers for follow up on amendments
- Update rate/premium spreadsheets for clients and their employees to advise of amendment/include frequently asked questions and any impact on claims
Quarterly Claims Experience
- Assist with preparation of claims summary by benefit
Benefit Plan Renewals
- Input renewal data for corporate clients
- Provide all supporting documentation as requested by consulting team
Market Reviews
- Assist consulting team with marketing as required
Financials
- Support the financial analyst and consultant by assisting with the preparation of financial statements, as required
- Request necessary documentation from carrier to support financial reports
Client Services Support
- Liaise between the client and the insurer on major claims issues; plan questions, etc.
- Employee & Family Assistance Program Data creation
- Filing
Implementations
- Assist consulting team with the preparation of the plan overview
- Employee Booklets (review drafts for accuracy; send back to carrier if changes required; send final draft to client, where applicable; order supply of documents and booklets; provide supply of booklets to client)
**Experience**:
- Bilingual English & French is required
- 3 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in benefits insurance. Brokerage experience is preferred
- Excellent oral and written English and French communications skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems
- Knowledge of Unions
**Education**:
- College or university graduate, or equivalent business experience
