**ABOUT US** ABLE Engineering Services Inc., "ABLE", is a versatile, experienced, multi-disciplinary engineering firm that works on a wide range of projects. We excel in civil and structural engineering, construction and legal surveying, and the design of infrastructure systems for commercial, residential, governmental, and industrial projects. Since inception in 2009, we have grown significantly - from humble roots in a spare bedroom in Chester, Nova Scotia, to now over 35 employees and three bricks and mortar offices in the province. DUTIES Join our team ABLE is seeking a highly-organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Project Coordinator to join our team for an 18 month term, with potential to extend. As an Administrative Assistant/Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting project managers and teams in the successful engineering and land surveying projects. Your role will involve coordinating project activities, tracking project progress, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables. RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets - Coordinate project activities and ensure tasks are assigned and completed on time - Track project progress and provide regular status updates to management committee - Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project files - Support the preparation of project reports and presentations - Facilitate communication between team members, clients, contractors and other stakeholders - Facilitate communication to clients regarding project scope, budget and timelines to clients and provide regular updates SKILLS To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Strong proficiency in project management software - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams - Knowledge of project management principles and practices - Understanding of project management methodology and best practices - Understanding of project management methodology and best practices **Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - RRSP match - Tuition reimbursement - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
