Western Canada Booking Coordinator

As part of our expansion, we are looking for a **Western Canada Booking Coordinator** to manage freight bookings, coordinate shipments, and ensure smooth transportation operations for our Western Canada region.
**Responsibilities**:
**Freight Booking & Coordination**:
- Handle and manage all **Western Canada** freight bookings for **Full Truckload (FTL) and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL)** shipments.
- Communicate with **customers, shippers, and carriers** to secure bookings and confirm delivery schedules.
- Monitor and update the **TMS** to track shipments and ensure real-time accuracy.
- Work closely with dispatchers and drivers to manage routes, loads, and logistics operations efficiently.
- Optimize truckloads and coordinate with the operations team to maximize capacity utilization.
**Customer & Carrier Communication**:
- Maintain strong relationships with **existing and new customers** to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Address any **booking-related inquiries, issues, or delays** and provide real-time solutions.
- Work with **carrier partners** to negotiate rates and secure available capacity for shipments.
- Provide customers with accurate load status updates and resolve any service discrepancies.
**Documentation & Compliance**:
- Ensure all **shipment paperwork, contracts, and customs documents** are completed and filed accurately.
- Verify and process **rate confirmations, BOLs (Bill of Lading), PODs (Proof of Delivery)**, and other required documents.
- Ensure compliance with **company policies, transportation regulations, and safety guidelines**.
**Reporting & Performance Tracking**:
- Maintain accurate records of all **bookings, cancellations, and modifications** in the system.
- Track **KPIs such as booking accuracy, on-time delivery rates, and carrier performance**.
- Assist in preparing **weekly/monthly reports** for management review.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
