**YOUR ROLE**
We are seeking an experienced professional to join the data governance & privacy team as data quality lead. The data governance & privacy team is responsible for creating and implementing the data governance framework as well as ensuring compliance with regards to privacy at the ALDO Group. The team works closely with stakeholders from all areas of the business, creating a data-driven culture and promoting the usage of data through analytics and AI.
As a data quality lead, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining robust data quality practice while ensuring accuracy, reliability, and integrity of The ALDO Group’s data assets.
**Responsibilities**:
**Governance**
- Collaborate to the definition and implementation of the governance framework
- Participate in the implementation of data protection and privacy regulations
- Define and enforce policies and procedures
**Stewardship**
- Assist, advise, support data owners and data stewards in the execution of their role
- Foster a culture of data ownership and accountability throughout the organization
- Participate to stewardship committee
**Quality**
- Implement data quality strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data quality standards and metrics.
- Design and oversee data quality monitoring processes.
- Design and implement a remediation strategy.
- Work closely with data owners and stewards to provide the tools and means to monitor, report and remediate data quality issues.
- Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, data owners and stakeholders to develop a data quality by design mindset.
- Work with QA specialists to develop comprehensive dashboards and monitoring tools.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of data quality controls.
- Provide guidance and support to teams in implementing best practices for data quality assurance.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance data quality.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data quality, analytics and AI.
**Literacy**
- Create and revise training documents.
- Conduct training workshops
- Promote a data-driven culture and data usage
**Data management**
- Work closely with the data governance advisor data engineers and AI team to leverage and enhance metadata
**DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science).
- 10 + years of experience in data quality management and stewardship roles, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data management, and data quality and data privacy best practices.
- Experience with data quality tools and technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various departments and levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
- Ability to work in both French and English, as communication with local and global partners is required
