The primary purpose of the **Production Supervisor & Operation Coordinator (Back Up) **is to provide back up for the production supervisor and Operations Coordinator.

**Major Responsibilities Operations Coordinator Role**:
Scheduling of the workforce for Production.

Process vacation and leave of absence requests as per company policy.

Prepare Volunteer Sign-up sheets for extra shifts and Stat Holidays.

Support and maintain company-wide performance measures and strive for constant improvements.

Assist the production managers in daily operations, including work team management.

**Major Responsibilities Supervisor Role**:
Scheduling Production Employees

Ensure that quality linens are processed and shipped.

Coaching, Team Member development and training.

To provide leadership and supervision to the assigned work Team. Effectively motivate, train, and communicate to assure superior levels of safety and cost savings.

Monitor Production throughput, balance production to achieve the highest levels of POH.

Support and maintain company-wide performance measures and strive for constant improvements.

Assist the production managers in daily operations, including work team management.

**Additional Responsibilities**:
Must exercise continuous leadership to focus department efforts on priorities.
- Must deal with constantly shifting priorities.
- Manage day-to-day work force while displaying a positive, team driven attitude.
- Review and develop standardized procedures in order to improve efficiency of operational functions.
- Continuous attention towards safety, environmental and health concerns.
- Strict adherence to Corporate and/or Plant policies, rules and regulatory compliance.
- Recommends changes to improve quality, reduce costs and increase throughput.
- Performs other related duties as required.

**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year laundry industry work experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in any similar production environment preferred.
- Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through others.
- An ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost of production and teamwork relations.
- A demonstrated ability to train, coach and develop the required workplace skills in each member of your team.
- An ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A demonstrated strong team player; self-motivated & self-starter.
- Willing to work all shifts as required (day, swing or night).
- Assist and support in efforts to achieve production department and Company goals.
- Ability to handle stress in a constructive manner and deal with difficult workplace situations.
- Willingness and ability to be a good Role Model.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- MS Office - Excel &Microsoft Word Intermediate to Advanced Skill Level

- Familiar and Experience with working in a manufacturing setting.

**Working Hours**
- Production Supervisor (Back Up) 4 days/week x 10 hour shifts
- Operation Coordinator (Back Up) - Mon to Friday (8 am - 4:30 pm)
