The role of the Samples/Production Supervisor is to coordinate daily order management of Samples production to ensure efficient processes and maximize productivity. The Samples/Production Supervisor will exhibit excellent communication skills and liaise between the shop employees, customer service and warehouse/shipping teams. They will coordinate lead production times, rush orders and raw material replenishment and ensure the quality of goods produced, that they are packed effectively and shipped on time.

To be successful as a Samples/Production Supervisor you should be experienced in multitasking, organizational skills, optimizing production/warehouse processes, be an effective team leader and hold individuals accountable. You must be able to work in a production environment with high powered tools. Hands on support is expected, as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate orders and ensure completion to on time shipping.
- Create customer orders, internal Sales Rep orders and liaise with Customer Service Reps.
- Create internal material replenishment orders.
- Work closely with Customer Service, Warehouse Supervisor and Logistics Coordinators
- Accountable for accurate order management and on time shipping.
- Learn and navigate SAP and/or other WMS systems.
- Evaluate and report on production productivity.
- Ensure all work is carried out accordance to Health & Safety standards.
- Track and coordinate raw material orders.
- Order supplies and maintain suitable inventory levels.
- Check orders and optimize packing processes.
- Maintain records, report relevant information, and prepare necessary documentation.
- Support SOP creation.
- Lead from the front and provide good examples of personal conduct.
- Offer solutions to problems.
- Ensure proper utilization of the escalation process when required.
- Properly document equipment issues and report problems to Supervisor.
- Lifting of supplies and equipment will be required.
- Performing other relevant duties when needed.

**Knowledge & Skills Required**
- Post-secondary education
- 2+ years of experience as team lead or other leadership roll (related to fast paced production/warehousing/distribution work environment)
- Proficiency with order management via SAP and/or other production/distribution-based system, Microsoft Office
