Job Overview:
**Duties**:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, bar, banquet or other food or beverage service.
- Maintain and organize inventory while coordinating orders with suppliers to ensure stock availability.
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.
- Manage customer complaints.
- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.
- Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policy.
- Resolve conflicts promptly and effectively, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments.
- Develop or contribute to marketing plans to promote the establishment.
- Monitor restaurant sales, develop, implement, and analyze budgets.
- Craft innovative and appealing cocktail menus that cater to diverse tastes and enhance the overall dining experience.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Develop and follow a budget to maximize restaurant profits.
- Prepare production and other reports.
- Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
- Handle various tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in supervisory or similar role in a restaurant.
- Must have own transportation & drive.
- Available to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
- Knowledge of POS systems and bartending experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication abilities for interacting with customers, staff, and suppliers.
- Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise and ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Customer-focused mindset to provide exceptional service and resolve complaints effectively.
Pay: $45,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
