Role Summary

CSD is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM). Our goal for this role is to employ a driven, independent professional with an “intrapreneurial” mindset, who is supported by us, but not micro-managed.

The BDM is required to develop relationships with our current clients as well as sourcing new clients. Ideally the BDM will have a hunter mentality with the ability to seek or create opportunities and build mutually beneficial long-term relationships.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years Previous Sales Experience, Industry experience is an asset
- A Hunter Spirit that is goal oriented and appreciates complex selling and thrives on prospecting activity
- Be able to collaborate with Management to plan, conduct and follow up on sales opportunities
- Excellent communication, problem solving, presentation and organizational skills
- Is decisive, confident, and independent
- Is committed to developing long term relationships in collaboration with CSD Management and administrative support
- Is curious, a lifelong learner with a desire to be continuously improving

Role Requirements
- Follow up on referrals and self-generated leads to assess needs and plan a comprehensive solution
- Develop pricing and business development strategies: lead generation, sales presentations, proposals, RFP responses etc.
- Plan schedule and travel to optimize client meetings
- Negotiate terms of sales, contract wording and the timing of implementation
- Collaborate with Management and Operations to demonstrate CSD’s proficiency and resources to clients during the sales process to ensure confidence in the implementation of services
- Work with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and strategically leverage its data for opportunities
- Perform market research and regular competitor monitoring

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
