- **The Opportunity**:_
We are seeking a highly motivated _**Customer Service Representative**_ to join our team in Newmarket. This role is specifically for the _**Marine Segment**_ which serves researchers wanting to track the movements of Fish.
Customer Service Representatives (CSR) contribute to the quality of the customer experience, through the personalized service they provide. CSRs provide technical support and training for customers, facilitate equipment returns for repairs/calibration, provide sales support and provide feedback to Segment and Product Management. Together, the CSRs and Sales Account Managers are the key client relation contacts critical to the development of true client loyalty. CSRs report to Segment Managers.
- **Requirements**:_
- Proven ability to gain co-workers and customer respect to facilitate positive outcomes
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Good time-management when multi-tasking and able to handle the high volume of enquiries
- Energetic personality, takes initiative, works independently in a multi-tasking, fast paced environment
- Good knowledge of software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, familiarity with Navision an asset)
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude when required to escalate client concerns and manage client expectations
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- **Skills and Qualifications**:_
- University degree or college diploma preferred
- Customer Service Experience
- Active participation in the natural world
- **Duties**:_
- Build a thorough knowledge of using Lotek equipment
- Provide training for researchers new to our equipment
- Resolve equipment issues researchers experience
- Key liaison between the client and the organization (Sales, Production, Engineering)
- Assist Sales Account Managers with active participation in all order entry and follow up
- Document, investigate and get closure on all client issues or complaints
- Coordinate work schedules with other CSRs and Account Managers
- Complete all office related administration tasks such as forecasting, quoting, order entry, filing of communications, reporting, mailing, timesheets, expense reports etc. in a timely manner
- Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations
- Ensure Quality Standards are maintained
- Provide client feedback to the Segment and Product Managers
- Adhere to and participate with all policies of the organization
