**Position Summary**
The Director-Critical Care, Medicine & Patient Flow reports to the Vice-President-Clinical & Chief Nursing Executive. In this role, you are responsible for the planning, development implementation and ongoing strategic operations of current and future directions of the Program in alignment with the Hospital's strategic plan, mission and values. This includes the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and Medical Unit.
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will be a strategically focused change leader with advanced planning and organizational skills. You will also possess a collaborative leadership style with exceptional communication skills that will enable you to promote and maintain an interdisciplinary network and relationships with community groups, and external agencies as they relate to the Program.
You will lead and engage an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient-focused quality care, service excellence and build leadership capacity at all levels. You will have strong understanding of the impact and health care challenges related to the program areas. You will have experience in at least one of the focused areas of Emergency, ICU and Medical. You will have knowledge of the reporting requirements and accountabilities for P4R and CCSO.
In addition, you will have at least 5 years' of recent hospital leadership experience, an active registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess a Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Care Management or a related health science.

37.5 hours per week
