**Some of what you will do**:
The Manager, Finance Integration & Transformation will play a key role in the team to provide guidance and implement the strategy for continuous improvement of the finance function as well as manage the finance related integration efforts of acquisitions. This role will work directly with the Finance Transformation Leader and leadership from across finance and the broader organization, in areas which include finance initiatives, finance processes and modernization, post-M&A integrations, and system upgrades and implementations.

**Specifically, You Will**:

- Be involved in change management activities, including current-state and future-state process mapping, solutioning, implementation and training, and prepare related documentation
- Support and make recommendations for processes, controls, policies and systems, while managing risks and maintaining a strong control environment
- Support system upgrades and implementations
- Perform a detailed review of acquiree closing balance sheet and coordinate with finance team to determine opening balance sheet
- Create gap analysis for each acquired acquisition of accounting practices, policies, and procedures and develop action plan
- Assist in preparation of closing statements, which will determine the final purchase price of acquisitions
- Assist in the coordination of external audit of acquirees
- Along with Finance Transformation Leader, be a key point of contact for acquired business personnel for questions regarding finance and reporting processes
- Perform a detailed review of financial information provided by acquiree
- Preparation of internal financial statements based on financial data provided by acquiree, including GL mapping exercises, trial balance uploads and managing adjusting entries
- Be involved in finance integration activities, such as consolidation strategy, payroll transitions, customer migrations, etc.
- Other ad-hoc tasks that may arise from time-to-time

**Some of what you need**:

- University business degree with a focus in accounting
- 6+ years of progressive experience, specifically finance / accounting experience with public company reporting under IFRS
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in leading multiple teams
- CPA designation
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting; experience within a public company desired
- Strong knowledge and understanding of financial systems, processes, controls and reporting. Continuous improvement disposition
- Experience with Oracle and Power BI is an asset
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Collaborative and team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Well organized, logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to “roll up the sleeves” and work with the team in a hands-on capacity
- Proactive and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
- Audit and controls experience are an asset
- A commitment to improvement, providing and implementing recommendations
- Experience with M&A is an asset
- Experience with automation is an asset
