**About The Role**

Nu-E Corporation is currently looking for a **Development Manager based in Calgary, Alberta**. The Development Manager will lead the prospecting and creation of a utility scale solar power project portfolio for the Northwestern United States. The position will require the following:

- Ability to identify high potential locations for the development of utility scale solar generation sites
- Knowledge of local Transmission Facility Operators (TFOs) and Distribution Facility Operators (DFOs) in the Northwestern United States
- Knowledge of the interconnection process defined by local Independent System Operators (ISOs)
- Ability to work with internal stakeholders to quantify solar specific yields and financial viability for target areas
- Capability to lead state and federal permitting processes related to the development of utility scale solar sites
- Expertise to negotiate land purchasing or leasing agreements for potential locations
- Basic technical understanding of electrical grid operations, photovoltaics and power generation
- Ability to travel within the territory

**Salary**: $110,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
