**About the Role**
We’re looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented **Office Administrator** to join our team in a **permanent, full-time** capacity. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys balancing in-office and remote work responsibilities.
**Hybrid Schedule**: This position requires a **part-time in-office presence**, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining hours after completing the onboarding period.
**Growth-Oriented**: As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in keeping the office running smoothly while also supporting broader administrative and team initiatives, including event planning, calendar management, and project coordination.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage in-office activities such as signing for packages, printing, binding, and sending contracts.
- Organize and maintain office supplies and resources.
- Handle phone calls and general inquiries.
- Oversee asset management and ensure the office runs efficiently.
- Provide administrative support to project teams, including document preparation, editing, and management.
- Assist with project opening processes, such as setting up files and preparing start-up documentation.
- Support event planning, calendar management, and team coordination.
- Set up SharePoint groups for project and business sites.
- Develop and distribute reports, proposals, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with internal staff to ensure timely project completion.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the Markham team and broader administrative needs.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- College diploma in Administration or equivalent training.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an engineering or architectural firm.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A self-starter with enthusiasm for helping others and solving problems.
**Beneficial Skills**

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
