**WHAT WE OFFER**

Full-Time Permanent Position

$25.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience

**POSITION MANDATE**

The Dental Assistant is responsible for the smooth operation of the dentist’s office, maximizing and maintaining a high level of professionalism and a personal image that upholds the dental office standards of integrity, quality, and providing excellent customer service.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Welcome patients into the dental office
- Prepare customers for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
- Chairside assistance during consultations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Assisting with charting, basic restorative, crown and bridge, oral and perio surgery, endo, and other procedures
- Room set-up and clean-up
- Sterilization and processing of instruments
- Taking digital Radiographs
- Laboratory duties may include preparing models, taking impressions, organizing cases
- Accurate and appropriate patient record keeping
- Provide pre-scripted post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS**
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Itero scanning skills will be an advantage

- Able to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately
- Excellent command of the English language (both oral and written)
