We are a caring family dental office, located in Collingwood, Ontario, with a wonderful patient base, and an enthusiastic dental team dedicated to quality care. We are looking for a Dental Administrative Coordinator to compliment our team. Must be able to work a Full-time schedule. Previous dental experience would be helpful, but a great attitude and a strong work ethic are our first priorities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome patients to the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information
- Maintain electronic medical records and update patient information as needed
- Assist with billing and processing insurance claims
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any concerns or questions they may have
- Be proficient at filling doctor and hygiene schedules

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical office setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, such as Abeldent
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and organization

We offer competitive pay based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
