We have been a leading manufacturer of high-precision components in BC and internationally for over 40 years. No two days will be the same given our focus on low volume high complexity work for a variety of industries including deep sea submergence, aerospace, alternative energy, medical, and manufacturing OEMs. Our 20,000-square-foot facility is located in Coquitlam BC at 1324 Ketch Court and is equipped with 18 CNC machines including a mix of vertical and horizontal mills, lathes, 5-axis, and 7 live tooling machines, and a manual machine room. We are ISO 9001 certified and operate a fleet of well-maintained Mazak and Haas machines that support online (conversational Mazatrol) and offline programming.

This is not an environment where operators stay as operators, we aim to provide the training resources to advance your skillset to the point where you can take complex drawings to finished components over time. - Grade 12 or GED and a Valid Class 5 or 7 license
- Technical skills and experience working in a machine shop/manufacturing environment are a plus.

**The Role**:
The Shop Hand role is our entry-level position with significant progression opportunities. The experience will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities. We are looking for a team player to step in where needed throughout their experience at Mahler. Our goal is to take you from
- Cleaning and organizing the shop. It is clean and we like to keep it that way
- Part cleaning, packing, deburring, and polishing
- Driving and delivery
- With time, operating manual and CNC machines to produce components
- Day shift hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday). Potential for overtime work
- Wage starts at $20.00-$22.00 / Hour with a competitive benefit package
- Paid vacation for 2 weeks per year, 3 weeks (5 years), 4 weeks (10 years), and potential for unpaid leave
