**Required skills and experience to be successful**:
- Minimum of 4 years full-cycle bookkeeping experience, including year end preparation
- Minimum of 2 years non-profit bookkeeping experience
- Experience with QBO / QuickBooks Desktop
- Experience with Dext / Hubdoc, an asset
- Financial Grant reporting, an asset
- Experience with issuing donation receipts, an asset
- Experience managing GST/HST and PST
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and accurate in task and completion
- Ability to work with, and improve, disorganized records
- Willingness to learn and adapt to change
- Possess a positive attitude
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience running and reviewing payroll, including issuing Records of Employment (ROE's), T4's, T4A's, T4A-NR's, T5's an asset
- Patience and a sense of humour are essential
