Account Executive, Mid-market

Our New Business Sales team is responsible for bringing in some of the most exciting new customers to 1Password. As a Mid-Market Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be to work with prospective clients to understand their requirements, identify problems and present clear solutions that meet their needs. Your objective is to build strong relationships with customers, share your enthusiasm for 1Password, demonstrate the product to key stakeholders, and guide them through the purchasing process.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
**What we're looking for**:
- Proven track record with 3+ years experience in sales, managing a pipeline and maintaining a sales quota. Preference for experience in a SaaS sales environment, but not required.
- Personable but persuasive and able to communicate convincingly over the phone and video.
- Exceptional organizational skills, you’re someone who can develop or follow systems for managing a pipeline of business with often complex sales cycles.
- You have a data-driven, decision making mentality that allows you to draw insight and tell a compelling story to improve performance and relationships.
- A knack for learning things on your own and quickly adapting to new environments. When you’re faced with a challenge or something you don’t understand, you’re comfortable to find the right people or resources to solve the problem.
- Team player and collaborator, in this role you will need to work closely with your manager, as well as other teams internally including sales enablement, legal and security
- It’s a bonus if you have personal experience with 1Password or another password manager. While not required, it’ll help you quickly have confidence in this role.
**What you can expect**:
- Manage a pipeline of clients, understand decision drivers for each deal, and be able to forecast revenue and predicted close date
- Be responsible for booking meetings and generating pipeline through outbound sales activities.
- Work with various stakeholders within an organization, often including C-Suite Executives, Engineering and Security teams.
- Be a part of a dynamic team
USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $71,000 USD and $97,000 USD and is commission eligible. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $67,000 CAD and $91,000 CAD and is commission eligible. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
