We are currently looking for a **Production Supervisor** to join our team on **Afternoon Shift** **Kitchener, Ontario (2:30PM - 11:30PM)**.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process and is responsible for overseeing production operations. This role will ensure that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. The production supervisor is responsible for optimizing day to day activities while minimizing costs.
**POSITION RESPONSIBILITES**
- Ensure employee safety by teaching safe work practices, administering safety policies & procedures, and ensuring safety issues are addressed in a timely manner
- Promote the manufacture of a quality product by ensuring employees are trained, following procedures, and completing quality checks. Initiate corrective actions as required.
- Ensure employees are being productive and meeting production goals
- Identity and execute activities to improve production efficiencies, build a cohesive team and drive employee engagement
- Lead problem solving activities in collaboration with employees in your work area and support departments to fix problems and make improvements
- Complete required paperwork in a timely manner
- Enforce company policies and procedures
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 3+ years leadership/supervisory experience in manufacturing
- Preference given to previous plastic injection molding or automotive experience
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong time-management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; verbal, written and listening
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Strong sense of urgency to meet production and organizational goals
- Computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, ADP
