Purposely is based in Vancouver, BC. We’re on a mission to get people volunteering. We work with companies that share our commitment to volunteering. We provide software and organize events that are social, engaging, and most importantly, impactful.

**What we’re looking for**

We’re looking for a passionate people-person to help us coordinate volunteer activities with nonprofits and to help us run events.

You’ll lead nonprofit outreach and event planning to help our customers find the perfect volunteer opportunities. This role is all about building relationships, so that means your comfortable on the phone and ready to bring in nonprofits to our growing network.

You’ll also be the main planner at Purpose Days, our in-person events where we partner with a nonprofit organization to create a big volunteer day. You’ll organize, coordinator, and promote these events from start to finish.

**Duties and responsibilities**

Nonprofit Coordination:

- Source nonprofits for our outreach funnel
- Build relationships with nonprofits around the world
- Coordinate volunteer events with nonprofits for our customers

Events
- Run Purpose Day events from start to finish, supported by, and building on, our playbook.
- Tasks include: Identifying potential opportunities, liaising with nonprofits, planning the day, creating materials for promotion and publishing to social media platforms, running the event in-person, and post-event data analysis to inform future efforts

**Knowledge and skills**
- A marketing or sales degree or diploma
- A previous events planning role
- Photography/videography & editing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- photography: 1 year (preferred)
- event planning: 1 year (preferred)
- B2B sales: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Vancouver, BC V6E 2P4
