**Who we are**

At Purposely, we're on a mission to get more people volunteering. We work with companies that share our commitment to volunteering and match them with nonprofits that need support from volunteers. We provide software and organize events that are social, engaging, and most importantly, impactful.

**What we’re looking for**

We’re looking for a passionate people-person to help us build relationships with nonprofits across Canada and the US, coordinate volunteer activities with them, and to help us run local volunteer events.

You’ll lead nonprofit outreach to help our customers find the perfect volunteer opportunities. This role is all about building relationships, so that means your comfortable on the phone and ready to bring nonprofits into our growing network.

You’ll also help plan Purpose Days, our in-person events where we partner with a nonprofit organization to take on a volunteer project.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Source nonprofits for our outreach funnel
- Reach out to and build relationships with nonprofits across Canada and the US
- Coordinate volunteer events with nonprofits for our customers
- Help coordinate and run Purpose Day events. Tasks include Identifying potential opportunities, liaising with nonprofits, planning the day, running the event in-person, and post-event data analysis to inform future efforts

**General Requirements**
- Experience in the nonprofit sector
- Skill in public speaking and customer service
- Experience with outreach through CRM software
- Basic photography or video editing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle

**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Completion of post-secondary education preferred
- Or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for the job
- Experience in community development is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
