Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees and maintaining compliance with all relevant safety regulations. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and implement safety protocols.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Provide training to employees on safety procedures and best practices
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training sessions
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to workplace safety
- Build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization to promote a culture of safety
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience working as a Safety Manager in a construction or industrial setting
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards
- Strong understanding of construction management software (e.g., Build)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to influence others to prioritize safety
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in high-pressure situations
