Clinic Administrative Assistant

**Key responsibilities**:
- Greet and direct patients according to their scheduled appointments
- Answering, screening, and forwarding any inkling calls while providing basic information when needed
- Handle and schedule a high volume of patients per day while retaining the ability to aggressively re-call and track patients who are not booked
- Produce invoices and receipts, handle payments and POS transactions
- Find out extended health benefits coverage details communicate that information to the patients effectively
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing etc.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the clinic; opening and closing clinic; ensuring the front desk and waiting room is clean and organized
- Appointment confirmations
- Compile weekly/monthly statistics and place in management by statistics
- Manage MVA and WSIB paperwork
- Manage daily financials
- File all daily debit/credit receipts
- Make suggestions for how to optimize procedures and systems of the clinic
- Additional responsibilities as required

**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, kinesiology or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in clinic management or office administration, preferably in a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in using clinic management software, electronic medical records, and Microsoft Office Suite (preferred).
- Knowledge of insurance claims, and compliance regulations (preferred).
- Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
