You are at the right place We are currently looking for a hardware technician Here's what's in store for you: - You will participate in the bring-up and validation of new prototypes - You will determine new circuits - You will assemble printed circuit boards in SMT - You will perform extensive tests and evaluate the quality of the products (power consumption, aesthetics, image and sound quality, technical specifications, etc.); - You will analyze the results of quality tests, make hypotheses and diagnose; - You will identify and report on detected failures; - You will create test plans, document the results of investigations and complete test reports; - You will notify and collaborate with the appropriate people when we encounter a problem with a product and participate in the resolution of the problem - You will have the opportunity to actively participate in the research and development process of new products with the engineering team ("brainstorming") - You will also have the opportunity to be in charge of some R&D projects **Qualifications**: Here is what will allow you to flourish in your role: - A DEC or AEC in electronics, electromechanics or equivalent relevant experience in the field; - 2 years of experience as a Hadware and firmware technician - Knowledge of CAD software (e.g. Altium Designer); an asset - Ability to design printed circuit boards (layout and routing); an asset - Good knowledge of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket), an asset - You are comfortable using test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc) - Resourcefulness and initiative; - Bilingualism in oral and written communication (frequent communication outside Quebec requires the use of English) Additional Information - A work environment that allows you to bring your ideas to life and develop your potential - Flexibility that allows you to adapt your schedule to your lifestyle; - A hybrid work mode: you can work from home and/or at one of our offices; - Free access to an online health professional 24/7; - Group insurance including: health (medication and paramedical), vision care, dental care, life and long term disability; - Access to an employee assistance program; - A diversified company where challenges are varied: impossible to get bored
