Lumi Canada Inc. is the dominant player globally in the provision of software and real-time audience engagement technology to facilitate Annual General Meetings for Companies (whether listed or non-listed), Associations, Legislative Bodies, Membership Organizations, and Partnerships. Based on proprietary, patented technology, Lumi provides software, hardware, and services that assist registrars or event organizers to register delegates and provide live, secure polling, Q&A management services, and relevant reporting.

Working under Finance manager, your main responsibilities will be performing all tasks related to accounts payable and receivable management, also providing support in production of financial statements.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are property recorded in Sage 50. Including cash receipts and payments.
- Produce invoices to customers, record deposits into the general ledger system Sage.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger versus subledger and make sure they agree.
- Reconcile administration system with sage 50 and make sure all transactions are property recorded.
- As responsible of Accounts payable, you will oversee the full cycle and will play an active role in maintaining the daily on-going payments and monitoring all incoming invoices. Communicate efficiently with direct manager and make sure all issues are addressed in timely manners.
- Perform review of all received invoices using procedures in place and document each items appropriately.
- Ensure all invoices are duly authorized and appropriately coded in the system.
- Maintain an accurate and consistent electronic filing of all invoices received from suppliers and documents all payments made to vendors for control and audit trial.
- Support with projects: on Ad hoc basis, you will be asked to assist on projects and contribute to their success.

**Skills and experience required**
- College or University degree in accounting
- Required to be bilingual (oral and written English and French)
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of accounting system, preferably sage 50 or Intacct
- Good knowledge or Excel, word, and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent organizational and time management
- Great interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and good team player
- Strong ability to prioritize and respect deadlines

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
