You’ll drive key communications strategies, work closely with senior executives, and ensure programs stay responsive to the needs of diverse communities. If you’re passionate about collaboration, strategic thinking, and making a meaningful difference, this is an exciting role for you. **Qualifications**: **Education and Experience Requirements** - Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field such as journalism, public relations, writing, English, marketing, or a communications-related discipline. An equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training may be considered. - Three years' experience in external communications management positions. - Experience in developing and delivering change management strategies. - Experience planning, developing, and implementing external communications and marketing strategies. - Experience in professional writing/communications materials and product development. - Experience in the development and implementation of public and partner engagement. - Experience leading and supervising employees or project teams. - Experience building and maintaining partnerships with a diverse range of senior leaders and internal and external partners. - Experience leading, influencing, implementing, and sustaining organizational change. - Experience in influencing diversity and inclusion initiatives and best practices. Preference may be given to applicants with any of the following: - Experience leading complex public sector external communications and public engagement strategies. - Experience in developing, implementing, and managing social media campaigns. - Education or certification in Change Management. - Education or certification in Project Management. - Experience working in the Social Sector. - Experience working with interested and affected parties to provide client services. - Due to the nature of the role, preference may be given to applicants who self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations status or non-status, Inuit and/or Metis), LGBTQ2S+, a Person with a Disability, and/or racialized groups, with the required combination of education and experience.
