The team works to ensure that all individuals, regardless of background or circumstance, have equitable access to resources and support, reinforcing the CRT’s commitment to providing equal opportunities for all users to resolve disputes in a respectful and efficient manner. **The Role** The Director, Case Management and Deputy Registrar leads a diverse, multidisciplinary team that supports parties through the Civil Resolution Tribunal’s dispute resolution process. This role involves overseeing key areas such as strategy development, system enhancements, and building relationships with key partners, while ensuring the tribunal’s services remain accessible, efficient, and equitable for all individuals. With a focus on continuous improvement and strategic problem-solving, the Director plays a critical role in driving change and ensuring that the tribunal’s services meet the diverse needs of all users, creating a fair and inclusive process for everyone involved. **Qualifications**: **Education and Experience Requirements** - University degree in a related discipline such as Law or Public Administration, and a minimum 4 years' in each of the recent, related experience*; or - Diploma in a related discipline such as Law or Public Administration, and a minimum 5 years' in each of the recent, related experience*; course work must be in related field, such as administrative justice or the operation of a registry; or - Certificate in a related discipline such as Law or Public Administration, and a minimum 6 years' in each of the recent, related experience*; course work must be in a related field, such as administrative justice or the operation of a registry.- Recent, related experience must include ALL of the following: - Experience in the leadership and supervision in a high volume, front-line service environment. - Leadership of a service delivery team, i.e, experience leading teams providing culturally competent, timely, respectful, quality service to the public in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. - 1 year experience working effectively remotely, with mínimal supervision and to provide effective leadership to other employees who may also work remotely. - 1 year experience operating effectively in a near paperless environment, using only online or computer-based systems to manage work. Preferences may be given to applicants with: - Operational experience in an administrative justice environment. - Experience supervising in an environment with a high degree of focus on statutory decision-making, such as an administrative tribunal. - Education, practical training, and demonstrated experience in facilitating the resolution of disputes through a variety of techniques and communication methods. - Experience speaking and writing in languages other than English. - Applicants who self-identify as having indigenous heritage (First Nations, Métis or Inuit) with the required combination of education and experience. **About this Position**: This is a temporary opportunity for one (1) year.
