**Overview**
We are a locally owned and operated company dedicated to producing high-quality consumable products for companion, sport and food animals in accordance with Health Canada Natural Health Product Regulations. Reporting to the Operations Director, the Operations Assistant will provide vital support in production and service delivery.

**Duties**
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Receive, inspect and place into inventory all incoming materials.
- Weigh and measure raw materials using basic instruments (balances).
- Blend products, fill and label containers according to written protocols (SOPs).
- Safely operate equipment such as mixers, fillers, vacuum apparatus.
- Perform routine sanitation of facility.
- Accurately document all work performed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and improve processes.
- Consistently work to uphold policies and procedures to expected levels for safety, quality and client service, and to maintain compliance with Federal and Provincial industry regulations.

**Skills**
- High School graduation or pending.
- Fluency in English (written and oral) is a must.
- Effective communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to take direction.
- Able to lift 25 kg. (55 lb.).
- Experience with equipment such as balances, mixers.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Self motivated to maintain performance standards (pride of workmanship).
- Forklift training is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design software is an asset.
- Completion of university-level science courses is an asset.
- Prior experience in a similar role is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
