We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning & Engagement Specialist to join our People and Culture team.

**Responsibilities**
- Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture, the Learning & Engagement Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to elevate employee experiences. This encompasses enhancing the onboarding processes, cultivating a culture of continuous learning, creating ongoing employee communications, championing collaboration, and driving recognition efforts.
- Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Overseeing and refining the City’s new employee onboarding program, collaborating across teams to streamline processes and managing the program to create a positive onboarding experience.
- Procuring, implementing, and overseeing the delivery of learning and development programs and content aimed at improving employee skills using a variety of learning delivery models, including e-learning.
- Designing employee communication initiatives and creating impactful content to foster inclusion, engagement, learning and connection among employees.
- Creating and managing employee events, activities, team-building initiatives and recognition programs to cultivate a positive work environment, reinforce team relationships, and enhance employee morale. This includes events and programs related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as wellness activities.
- Developing, implementing an employee engagement framework and executing strategies and initiatives within the plan
- Gathering employee feedback via pulse surveys, focus groups, and other data sources, analyzing results, developing and implementing recommendations and programs that incorporate diverse perspectives.

**Requirements**:
**Compensation**
- We offer an attractive remuneration and benefits package for this exempt position, including a compressed work schedule. The salary range is: $108,804.00 - $126,840.00 (2024 rates).

**Hours of Work**
- Compressed work schedule.

**Additional Information**
- During the recruitment process, applicants will be requested to provide a current Police Information Check (PIC).
