IT Support Specialist

**_IT Support Specialist._**

**_What you will do._**
- _ Act as a liaison between end users and administrators as needed to provide an additional level of support:_
- _
- _Support end users in day-to-day IT tasks, including troubleshooting of workstations, printers, test devices and other office IT equipment or services._
- _
- _Administer Windows Servers under the guidance of System Administrators_
- _
- _Monitor support inboxes, Jira tickets, and Slack support channels._
- _
- _Assist in the registration and management of the hardware and software inventory._
- _
- _
- _
- _
- _Provide exceptional customer service to customers and internal groups._
- _
- _Participate in problem resolution in a multiplatform environment, propose changes that will prevent further occurrences._
- _
- _Attend regular Application Support meetings to keep abreast of upcoming projects and ongoing support flows._
- _
- _Take ownership of problems and management assigned tasks completing them in a timely fashion._
- _
- _Develop, maintain process documentation on support processes and procedures._
- _
- _Multitask handling support tasks and hit multiple project targets while working in a dynamic environment._
- _
- _Other duties as required._

**_Requirements_**

**_ What we expect._**
- _ Minimum of three years' experience working with supporting end users._
- _
- _
- _Relevant secondary education in Information Technology or another related field. _
- _Experience with Windows Server 2016 or above._
- _
- _Knowledge of networking principles and VPN._
- _
- _Proficient with MacOS and Windows Operating Systems._
- _
- _Knowledge of MDMs considered an asset._
- _
- _Knowledge of IBM Notes considered an asset._
- _
- _Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle will be required._
- _
