**About the Role**

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing custom printing company in Hamilton, Ontario. This is a hands-on, client-focused role ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who excels at closing deals and building long-term client value. You will play a key role in driving business growth by engaging with clients, identifying opportunities, and providing tailored solutions from our wide range of printing and decoration services.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and acquire new clients in the promotional marketing, corporate merchandise, and apparel sectors.
- Generate leads through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry events.
- Schedule meetings for senior management with potential clients to facilitate deal closures.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to increase repeat business.
- Understand client needs and propose customized solutions from our product and service offerings.
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools and consistent follow-up.
- Attend trade shows, expos, and industry networking events to promote services.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and new product opportunities.
- Collaborate with production, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to improve offerings and client experience.

**Qualifications**
- 6-8 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in printing, promotional products, or apparel manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of sales cycles, prospecting techniques, and account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Comfortable using CRM tools, prospecting platforms, and remote communication tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Availability for local and out-of-state travel to meet clients and attend events.

**Preferred Education/Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Sales certifications such as HubSpot Sales, Sandler, or similar are a plus.
- Additional training in account management, CRM systems, or consultative selling is advantageous.
- Fluent in English.

**Compensation & Benefits**
- Competitive salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year.
