This person is the first point of contact with the business, and therefore must possess exceptional communication skills both verbal and written. This position requires a confident, courteous individual with a high level of professionalism to manage direct contact with clients and drivers.

**The main responsibilities for this position include**:
Inbound/Outbound documentation - Receiving and sorting of internal/external BOLs and PODs, create, process, assign, organize and review/cross-referencing POD’s for signatures, discrepancies, other customer requirements and departmental documentation.

Assist and support Warehouse Supervisors with day-to-day operational flow - assist in daily assignments of job functions, co-ordinate carrier paperwork, assigning of Probills to designated drivers, prompt response of any client/delivery issues to ensure that work flow can proceed without delay, validation of process and documentation.

**Other Responsibilities**:
Deal with drivers and/or customers and must be responsive to all information requested

Prepare paperwork or specific requirements for client appointments

Answer and manage telephone calls, dispatch when required

Great clients and direct them as needed

Book appointments in person and or over the phone

Maintain a clean presentable work area

Document management, filing, accurate data entry

Sending updates to clients when requested

Inventory and ordering of shipping supplies

Daily issuing and handling of cash including end of day balancing

Any tasks/assignments given by superiors/managers

**Qualifications**:
Detail oriented, computer software skills with experience working with Excel spread sheets, have excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, analytical and organization skills, ability to prioritize and multitask. Able to work independently or as part of a team

Prior employment in a busy Transportation/Administration environment will be considered an asset.

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
